A Surface Control System controls plunger and well behavior and records critical data needed to ensure a well remains optimized. A typical control system consists of an electronic process control board with on board memory and a user interface. The control system takes in data from pressure transducers and position sensors and has the ability to drive solinoid valves and actuators. Utilizing logic loops programmed by the user, the Surface Control System can be utilized to optimize a well's production by "tuning in" the behavior of the plunger and surface valves.
Stellarton provides three types of controllers each best suited to specific applications. We also provide a fit for purpose remote telemetry system and a mechanism to control annular flow.
