The Wellhead Chambering System has been specially designed by Raise Production Inc. (Formerly Stellarton) to properly “chamber” API wellheads that have larger ID’s than the production tubing to create a consistent ID from bottom of the tubing to the wellhead.
The Problem
In cases when tubing has been changed out to a smaller size, the well head valves and tubing hanger are often not changed to match the new tubing string - the result is tubing with varying internal diameters. This causes a problem - any Intermitter (plunger) application requires consistent tubing and well head I.D’s to function properly.
The Solution
Raise Production’s Wellhead Chambering System ensures that wellheads can be sleeved regardless of their size or pressure rating, even in hazardous wells containing H2S or CO2. (The metallurgy and installation procedures may vary slightly from installation to installation).
- Engineered to a 5000 psi working pressure
- Can be safely installed under well pressure without the need to “kill” the well or use expensive workover equipment.
- Installed at a fraction of the cost of purchasing a wellhead and installing a wireline plug.
- Universal and adjustments can be made to retrofit dual or single master valve wellheads and wellheads with top swabbing valves installed.
Add to the Wellhead Chambering the installation of a DynaFlow Intermitter Lift System and your well becomes dependable and easy to operate while realizing maximum production with Raise Production's superior lift and flow control technologies.
Features
- Sized for existing well tubing ID.
- Sleeves are built onsite to match the varying depths of the tubing.
- Eliminates the need for wire line trips to set a plug or BPV to change out wellhead components or to purchase new well head valves.
- Allows the hanger to be sleeved in conjunction with the wellhead.
- Economical – costs less than wire line and new valves. One third the cost of changing out the wellhead.
- Designed to be simple and retrievable.
- Any miscalculation on sleeve lengths or misalignment can be rectified instantly by pulling the sleeve with a running tool.
- No need to kill the well. All chambering is done under live well conditions.
- Precise installation - does not interfere with master valve(s) opening and closing
- Does not interfere with normal well work overs, including wellhead removal, B.O.P. installation and tubing hanger and/or tubing removal.
